There is a chance that her agent turned it down on her behalf, without notifying her. Glen Larson initially selected her to play Battlestar Galactica in 1978. He wrote a rough script. The character was weak enough to convince her to take on the part. Glen then wrote a script for her that featured a strong character called Sheba. She accepted the Living Legend's script after she read its first pages. The show ran for just one season. She was in Joyride (1977), a film that she co-starred in and acted in with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith, Robert Carradine.
