Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the combat sports. Along with BJJ She also took classes in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. When she was 18 years old, Ladd had her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd was able to continue building upon her triumph in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She finished all of her opponents in the first round. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen to beat her a unanimous vote, leaving a black mark on Ladd's records for amateur. Ladd beat Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her record for amateurs to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. InvictaFC 11 was her very first professional bout. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta fought her at Bantamweight and won via armbar submission during the second round. Aspen employed her impressive wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her via the third round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy with the catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd didn't make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the second round by TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her final fight for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and then pounded her on the ground for a second-round TKO victory. Ladd continued to dominate and picked up a more amazing victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd ended Evinger in the first round. She also received an outstanding performance bonus. Her first fight of note came with her next bout at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd was victorious in by a unanimous decision following some great exchanges among the pair of fighters was awarded her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. in the 3rd round on UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She lost the fight via unanimous decision.
